Flower Exhibition at Utkal Alumina


Bhubaneswar(pr) In pursuit to promote greenbelt and horticulture in and round plant, Utkal Alumina International Limited, a subsidiary of Hindalco Industries Limited of Aditya Birla Group had organised the 3rd Flower Exhibition at Oshapada Stadium jointly by Ujjwal Utkal (Ladies Club) and Horticultural Department of Utkal Alumina from 27thJanuary to 29thJanuary 2024.

The Exhibition was inaugurated by Honourable Chief Guest, Mr. Charan Singh Meena, IPS, DIG of Police, Southwest Region, Koraput along with Mr. Mazhar Beig, Unit Head & President of Utkal Alumina& Aditya Alumina. Ms. Hina Beig, President Ujjwal Utkal Ladies Club, Mr. Bijaya Kumura Unit HR Head, Mr. Vijay Chauhan, Head Mines, Ms. Lopamudra Mishra, Head CSR & CR of Utkal Alumina were among the senior delegates who graced the occasion.   

The breathtaking floral display included 22 variety of seasonal plants, 15 variety of indoor plants, 15 variety of palm trees, 10 variety of succulent plants, 20 variety of bonsai plants and 10 variety of cactuses. The 3-day exhibition also included a Sangeet Show wherein the integration of music and nature created a multisensory and immersive experience for the visitors.Highlighting Utkal Alumina’s commitment towards a greener and more sustainable future, Mr Mazhar Beig, said “The flower exhibition aims to serve as a powerful tool for promoting environmentally conscious practices, fostering a deeper connection to nature, and inspiring individuals to become stewards of the environment in their respective homes and communities”.
