Rayagada(PR), Sept. 15: Engineers’ Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at GIST Engineering College, Kholliguda, Rayagada. The programme was organized by Diploma and B.Tech engineering students to mark the birth anniversary of the legendary engineer and Bharat Ratna awardee, Sir M. Visvesvaraya.
Students highlighted the invaluable contributions of engineers to nation-building and technological advancement. On the occasion, various technical talks, quiz competitions, and cultural events were organized, showcasing the talent and creativity of young engineers. Speaking on the occasion, faculty members encouraged the students to follow the ideals of Sir Visvesvaraya and dedicate themselves  to innovation and service for society. The event concluded with a vote of thanks and the collective pledge of students to uphold engineering excellence.
